The Hungarian Government concluded a strategic cooperation agreement with the Indian company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday. The agreement was signed by State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó and Dinesh P Thampi, Vice-President and General Manager of Tata Consultancy Services' Budapest Service Centre.
Twenty-three out of altogether ninety applications were bestowed the Family-friendly Workplace 2012 title. The awards were handed over in Budapest on Friday.

On Saturday, January 19 – the seventh anniversary of the Hejce air disaster – a commemoration was held in the village in Borsod-Abaúj Zemplén County.
