On Wednesday Viktor Orbán sent a letter of congratulations to Robert Fico upon his inauguration as Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic.

Viktor Orbán sees it as important for successful Central European co-operation and the development of relations between the two countries that a government has been formed in Slovakia which has a stable political basis. The Hungarian prime minister expressed the hope that strengthened co-operation between Slovakia and Hungary will contribute to the effective handling of Europe’s economic challenges.
