Government Spokesperson András Giró-Szász declared that the goal of Government measures was clearly to correct and remedy the failures of the previous socialist governments led by Ferenc Gyurcsány and Gordon Bajnai.

Regarding the governmental assistance for those who were in trouble because of their foreign currency loans, the Governmental Spokesperson stated that the primary task of the Government during the last three years was to provide opportunities to break free from unfair burdens, adding that the Government also had an obligation to ensure that such a situation could not happen again.
