Launching the Agricultural Széchenyi Card the agricultural entrepreneurs’ old ambition came true said Mr. Fazekas at today’s press conference held by the government’s representative.

Another important goal was the government’s second action plan that is the extension of the Széchenyi Card Program in order to support and strengthen family farms and small and middle-sized companies. The government aims to improve the financial situation of the domestic agrarian entrepreneurs and tries to support registered farmers who were most victimized by the economical crisis and natural disasters. The Széchenyi Card program has been expanded to support family owned farms and small and middle-sized companies in Agriculture.

At the start of launching the Agrarian Széchenyi Card, a preferential credit charge card can be obtained. Obtaining credit is helped by the guarantees of the Foundation for Agrarian Entrepreneur Credit Guarantee (AVHGA – Hung). Fifty percent of the yearly warranties’ fees are paid by the government including the minimal subsidiaries.

Criteria of Support

The Agrarian Széchenyi Card’s credit includes the whole area of Agriculture: -(production, food processing, distribution plus hunting, fishing and forestry). All entrepreneurs and natural persons (including registered farmers, family farm owners, small producers) can apply for preferential credit pertaining to those small and middle-sized companies who live up to the actual conditions defined by legal regulations.
