The delegation representing Hungary, which similarly to previous years is the event's guest of honour, is led by State Secretary for Agricultural Economy György Czerván. The State Secretary is the only foreign member of the chairing committee of the 3rd International Down Festival, held between 10-12 November 2012 in Luan in China's Anhui Province. Communiqué.

At the opening ceremony of the Festival, the State Secretary gave a short presentation on the current state of the Hungarian feather and garment industry, and drew the attention of the festival's participants to the fact that Hungary has goose breeds that are suitable for the production of premium quality feathers and down, as well as possessing exceptional goose breeding and feather processing technology.

Hungarian companies presented their products to Chinese companies and the several other foreign companies who took part at the Festival, with a 150 square metre stand. Several successful projects have been realised in the sector in recent years thanks to cooperation between Hungarian and Chinese partners.

During his visit to China, György Czerván also met with several Province and City Leaders to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation between Hungary and China within the field of agriculture.
