Applications for funding towards purchasing the equipment required by animal husbandry units, and food industry machinery and technology may be submitted from 8am on Monday 16 December until no later than 31 January 2013, or until the budget is depleted. The Ministry of Rural Development is providing a budget of 60 billion forints for this purpose.

A budget of 35 billion forints will be made available for the purchasing of animal husbandry technology, which the budget for developing food industry processing technology will be HUF 25bn.

In both sectors, the maximum funding that may be allotted for the purchasing of large machinery is 250 million forints, while in the case of small machinery the limit is HUF 15 million.
