Gyula Budai, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development, will be continuing and taking part in bilateral talks on November 20-21 at the Hungarian Harvest event organised by the Hungarian Embassy in Berlin.
During the official visit, he will discuss the actual issues relating to the Common Agricultural Policy and the more important tasks relating to the upcoming 2014-2020 budgetary period with the Chairman of the Federal Parliament's Agricultural Committee Hans-Michael Goldmann. He will also review consumer protection issues with Parliamentary State Secretary for Food and Consumer Protection Gerd Müller and Parliamentary State Secretary Peter Bleser, as well as discussing further German-Hungarian cooperation with relation to these topics. He will also hold talks with the Secretary-General of Raiffeisen Verband, Volker J. Petersen.
He will also be discussing issues of interest representation and the establishment of closer relations with the National Association of Hungarian Farmers Societies MAGOSZ with Secretary-General of the German Farmers Federation Helmut Born.
