Tenders by the First World War Centenary Memorial Committee have been announced, making it possible for NGOs and municipalities to publish scientific works, restore World War I memorials, organise scientific and cultural events, purse artistic activities and produce documentaries.
Set up by the Hungarian Government, the First World War Centenary Memorial Committee has the duties of coordinating the concepts of commemorations in Hungary, outlining the detailed series of programs about World War I and related historic events, commemorating heroes and victims of the conflict.
Apart from the main projects, the Memorial Committee would like to let NGOs and municipalities have an opportunity to organise appropriate commemorations.
The Institute of the 20th Century is responsible for the announcement and coordination of tenders. Contests are available at http://elsovilaghaboru.com/centenariumiemlekbizottsag/hu/palyazatok.
