Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and Justice Dr. Tibor Navracsics has received Abdullah Al-Hussayen, Saudi Arabian Minister of Water and Electricity.

At the meeting the parties assured each other of their mutual friendship, and explored opportunities for cooperation in the fields of research and development and international education and culture – both of which fields are the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice.

One such opportunity proved to be applied research, as Saudi Arabia may be able to employ technological advances from Hungarian scientific work in a number of specific areas. In exchange, the Arab country would share its experience in the field of water management with Hungarian experts.

At the meeting, Mr. Navracsics and Minister Al Hussayen also talked about the expansion of student exchange programmes run by the Hungarian Balassi Institute.
