Deputy Prime Minister Tibor Navracsics and the German Chancellery chief reviewed the two countries' respective domestic political situations on Friday.
Ronald Pofalla gave a briefing about Germany's forthcoming general elections and related scenarios, the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice said in a statement.
Navracsics outlined the key elements of Hungarian reforms over the past three years, including Hungary's position on the fourth amendment to its constitution.
