After Upper Hungary, Transylvania and Prekmurje, the Carpathian Basin-wide demonstration tour of the programme called ‘Year 2014 for Junior School in the Hungarian Diaspora’ carries on in Vojvodina this week; organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice. The programme was presented by Zsuzsanna Répás, Deputy Minister of State for Hungarian Communities Abroad in Subotica this Monday.

Seeking to help the strengthening of Hungarian-language education, the programme addresses upper grades of elementary schools this year, so that students facing career choices could acquire up-to-date knowledge on economy-related issues through the sessions.

The Deputy Minister of State said that they have met with more than 2000 students at 26 sites; the programme will be presented in Vojvodina at Subotica; Palic; Senta; Čoka; Mali Iđoš and Besdan. This year 140 million HUF is available for the programme.
