Hungary is represented at Europe's second largest book fair in Göteborg, Sweden, where the Hungarian stand has been set up with the a cooperation of the Balassi Institute, a background institution of the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice.

At the Thursday evening panel discussion focusing on Hungary, State Secretary for Public Diplomacy Zoltán Kovács talked with Cecilia Wikström, MEP for the Swedish party Moderaterna, and Mats Johansson, a Moderaterna representative in the Swedish parliament and rapporteur to the Council of Europe.

The organisers have said that there is great interest in Hungary and the forums at the Hungarian stand, which allows the public to develop a personal link with Hungarian writers and translators, and to get a taste of other aspects of Hungarian culture.
