The Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Council of Europe is meeting in Vienna between 19 and 21 September. The agenda of the Conference features the following: responses of justice to urban violence, juveniles as perpetrators and victims and organised groups and their ways of communicating.

Amendments are further expected to be made to the Third and Fourth Additional Protocols to the European Convention on Extradition of the Council of Europe, the purpose of which is to reinforce cooperation in the fight against crime, to introduce effective means for the fight against international crime and to further simplify the rules of the simplified extradition procedure. The conference is attended by Minister of State for Justice Dr Róbert Répássy and Deputy State Secretary Dr Katalin Kiszely.
