New Széchenyi Plan road show around the country sets off on 20 January 2911 Top officials have set out from the Ministry of National Development and the National Development Agency to familiarise rural chambers of industry and businesses with the remade development policy at jointly organised programmes.
The series of events aims at carrying information of the simplified application and the announced tenders directly to every affected party, with special focus on Hungarian micro-, small and medium-sized businesses. The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers participate as co-operating partners in the organisation of the forum series.
The meetings will be opened by Minister of State for the Co-ordination of Development Policy Ágnes Molnár and President of the National Development Agency Zoltán Petykó. Following this, the Ministry and NDA officials will explain the uniform system of development policy, changes in the grant system, and the tenders related to breakthrough points. Then the lecturers will answer the participants’ questions.
In every county the programmes will deliver the New Széchenyi Plan right to the doorstep of businesses that can use these funds to create jobs. The remarks and proposals made during the meetings will be incorporated in the subsequent tenders. Thus the New Széchenyi Plan can meet the requirements of the prospective applicants more closely.
The first stop in the road show was a lecture by Dr Tamás Fellegi Minister for National Development at a summit of the Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists (MGYOSZ) on 20 January 2011, in Budapest. The next stops include:
