In the framework of the NER300 programme, the European Commission supports innovative projects aimed at the environmentally safe capture and geological storage of carbon dioxide, the recovery of renewable energy and the development of intelligent networks. Only a limited number of tenders may be submitted per Member State in the framework of the Commission’s call for tenders, therefore the Ministry of National Development is launching a preliminary qualification tender.

The European Commission supports innovative projects in the NER300 tender that are most effective in serving the development and marketability technologies suitable for reducing the carbon dioxide emission of the EU economy. The amount of the non-refundable aid equals 50 per cent of relevant costs. A maximum of three tenders may be forward per Member State on the basis of the endorsing recommendation of the Member State. Preliminary qualification serves the selection of national projects that best comply with feasibility requirements. The Ministry of National Development will carry out the preliminary selection of Hungarian demonstrative projects that apply innovative technologies.

The preliminary qualification tender may be submitted electronically to the [[[lHGrpOytgS4mNYcTkVSMzAwQG5mbS5nb3YuaHU=]]] address, in the format specified in the notice published on the government website. Submission deadline: 15 May 2013. Required information should contain the schedule of the project plan, and the detailed, yet concise and informative presentation of the technological, financial and authorisation background. Tenders recommended for forwarding from among projects submitted for preliminary qualification are expected to be selected by the end of May.

Tenderers will be notified officially electronically on the result of preliminary qualification. Member States will forward for financial and technological review the complete tender documentation of investments implemented with EU co-financing by 3 July 2013 to the European Investment Bank. The institution will rank positively evaluated projects and forward these to the European Commission for a final decision.

The call for preliminary qualification, the data sheet necessary for the tender and detailed information are accessible on the www.kormany.hu website, together with the presentations provided on the NER300 consultation day of 15 April 2013.
