The handover of a HUF 664 million worth investment took place in Szolnok on 12 July 2013. SPECIMPEX Trading and Service Ltd. had been granted HUF 284 million worth EU support from New Széchenyi Plan funds to finance infrastructure development and asset acquisition investments.
SPECIMPEX Ltd. which was established in 1999, is specialised in export, import, repair, technical service, modernising and consulting activities in relation to defence technology products (aircrafts and engines). The service profile of the company has been extended by the recently completed development. A completely new service activity satisfying the market requirements including the production of methyl silicone gel hydrophobing additives for indoor and outdoor paints and other building industrial products (e.g. plasterboards) has been made possible by the extended production line.
As Mr Nándor Csepreghy, Deputy State Secretary for Development Projects told at the handover ceremony with regard to EU assistance, in order to ensure that Hungary genuinely benefits from such assistance it is essential to have entrepreneurs who seeing the potential for change and growth do take the initiative to realise their plans.
In his speech Mr Csepreghy explained that this year was of key importance for Hungary, with the planning of the economic development programmes for the next seven years currently taking place. ‘We need to draw up feasible plans as to how to spend approx. HUF 7,050 billion by 2020. This amount is no less than HUF 712,000 for each citizen of Hungary’, the Deputy State Secretary for Development Projects added.
Mr Csepreghy also spoke about the importance of the renewal of the tendering system. He explained that the government was working along in order to reduce the administrative burdens of the enterprises to ensure that the applicants could actually focus on what they know best, thus contributing to their success.
