The Hungarian Prison Service has installed a new solar collector system in one of Budapest's prisons, located on Maglódi Street.

The 66.5 million forint project was financed by successful tenders and will lead to annual savings of 2.5 million forints in energy costs. The Hungarian Prison Service places emphasis on environmental protection, they have implemented several energy saving projects recently and will continue to do so in the future, with the help of the inmates.
