On 13-14 February 2014 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr Tsvetlin Yovchev paid an official visit to Budapest at the invitation of Mr Sándor Pintér, Minister of Interior of Hungary.

In the course of the bilateral talks Ministers had a comprehensive exchange of views about the current challenges of mixed migration flows both Bulgaria and Hungary have been facing.

As Hungary and Bulgaria have extensive cooperation in the home affairs be it in a bilateral or regional framework, Ministers also discussed current bilateral and regional issues as well as certain topics high on the EU agenda.
