At the Akvárium Klub in Budapest this Sunday the Wheel of Life - Roma Values Culture Festival will offer visitors a host of free events: music, “táncház” (folk dance), exhibitions, food-tasting, a fashion show and bazaar.
Zoltán Kovács, Minister of State for Social Inclusion at the Ministry of Human Resources, spoke on Thursday at a press conference in Budapest to publicise the event. Mr. Kovács said that the festival was held for the first time last year with the intention of creating a tradition, and that it will continue this year to be a fitting showcase for Roma culture.
The events will provide insights into the everyday life of Roma people and bring different nationalities closer to each other through cultural understanding, the Minister of State added.
