The Museum of Fine Arts invited bids for designs for the layout and arrangement of buildings and the surrounding park in Budapest’s
planned new Museum Quarter.

The project includes the buildings of the New National Gallery with the Ludwig Museum, the Hungarian Ethnography Museum, the Hungarian Museum of Music, the Museum of Photography and the Museum of Architecture. The deadline for submissions is early September, the competition awarding a total of 15 million forints (EUR 51,000) is part of the large-scale Liget Budapest project aimed at an overall remodelling of the capital’s City Park.
