Today, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resources Mr. András Doncsev and H.E. Mr. Abderraouf Betbaieb, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Budapest of the Republic of Tunisia, signed a working plan for 2014-16 aimed at the further development of the two countries' relations in education and science, and in the interests of strengthening the relationship between the two countries general.
The education and science working plan for 2014-2016 aims to develop increased cooperation between institutions and in student exchange programs, providing scholarship opportunities for Tunisian and Hungarian students.
The Tunisian applicants will attend Hungarian higher institutions to study in the fields of agriculture, technology, arts and various areas of Linguistics, while Hungarian students will study Arabic languages and literature, and other areas of interest.
As part of the programme, the Parties shall exchange archaeological experience and will cooperate in the field of excavation and restoration, as well as exchanging archaeological publications through the relative institutions of the two countries.
