The Hungarian Student Sport Association awarded those Hungarian schools on Thursday, who made the biggest contribution to the advancement of student sports by having the most entrants and winners in competitions.

“In sports, everyone is a winner, because by taking part, they already overcame themselves” – Minister of State for Sports István Simicskó said during the awarding ceremony, adding that there is no better investment than investing into knowledge, performance and fitness of the next generation.

He said that in the first semester of the current school year 111 students received the Hungarian Sports Stars scholarship and over 170 trainers took part in advanced training programmes.
