There has been a conscious, dialogue-based shift of paradigm in healthcare in recent years, however, it did not avoid difficult issues – the Minister of State for Health of the Ministry of Human Resources Miklós Szócska summarised the actions of the Government in Budapest on Friday.

Mr Szócska explained to the audience of a conference organised by the economic research workshop of Nézőpont Institute: the Government did not entrust the market to solve these issues and has made a big step towards transparency.

According to the Minister of State, an intensive crisis management took place that should now be followed by a period of organisation. He suggested the creation of a big healthcare data alliance in his speech, which could make – in his opinion – Hungary a leader in the field.
