On June 24, Parliamentary State Secretary Zsolt Németh had talks with Deputy Foreign Minister of Ecuador Marco Albuja Martínez under the aegis of Hungarian-Ecuadorian foreign policy consultation, about opportunities for developing bilateral relations.
The Hungarian Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed his partner about the achievements of the Hungarian Government, including the policy of global opening aimed at bolstering foreign relations and the objectives of Hungary’s Central European Year, during which Hungary holds the Presidency of the Visegrad Cooperation (V4) and of the Central European Initiative (CEI).
Deputy Foreign Minister Marco Albuja Martínez spoke about the economic and social development program of his government and about their policy concerning relations with the European Union and the Central European region. The two politicians discussed the opportunities for the two countries in international development cooperation, higher education and research as well as in cultural and economic cooperation. They also touched on the subject of high-level visits.
