State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Zsolt Németh decorated Ambassador of Montenegro, Vanja Brajlo.

H. E. Ambassador Dr. Vanja Brailo is a distinguished and highly qualified member of the diplomatic corps of Montenegro. Between 2004 and 2006 he worked already as a diplomat in Budapest at the Embassy of Serbia and Montenegro. Upon completing this assignment, he continued his career in the Foreign Ministry of Montenegro. It was in 2008 that he returned to Budapest, as the Ambassador of Montenegro. He presented his credentials more than four years ago, on March 11, 2008.

In such a way, he became the first ever Ambassador of Montenegro to Hungary, an admirable position which no successor of his will be able to claim later. For all these achievements, not to mention his great affection for and family connection with Hungary, on the recommendation of Foreign Minister János Martonyi, and also on behalf of H.E President János Áder, today we have the privilege and the great honor to bestow on H.E. Ambassador Vanja Brailo the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary.
