A group of around 200 students and professors, undertaking a two-day long study visit, arrived in Budapest from the University of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) with the aim to explore the possibilities of launching scientific cooperation with Hungarian higher education institutions.
Szabolcs Takács, Deputy State Secretary for Security Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina, whereas they shared thoughts on such issues which are of utmost importance in terms of the future of the Western Balkans and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the perspectives of the youth in the region. As it was touched upon, Hungary will offer scholarships for 50 students from Bosnia and Herzegovina the year to come as part of the Stipendium Hungaricum program dedicated to foreign scholars, launched by the Hungarian government this Summer.”
