The Hungarian Foreign Ministry welcomes the ceasefire between forces in the Gaza Strip and Israel, and greatly appreciates the efforts of those working to secure it.
We regard full compliance of the agreement as important. Hungary has consistently maintained and continues to maintain the position that the resumption of direct negotiations between the sides affected could lead to settlement in the Middle East based on the two-state solution.
