Minister of Foreign Affairs János Martonyi has invited his Serbian counterpart, Ivan Mrkic, for talks in Budapest to discuss Serbia’s European Union integration process.
The Serbian minister will arrive for an official visit October 7, 2013. The visit will also offer an opportunity to deepen Hungarian–Serbian relations. Serbia requested to join the EU in 2009 and obtained candidate status in March 2012.
