On Wednesday, Foreign Minister János Martonyi held talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov, who is on a working visit to Hungary.
They also agreed that the meeting between Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow in late January was an important development in bolstering cooperation between the two countries.The two sides reviewed current Hungarian-Russian issues and agreed that bilateral relations were excellent and developing well.
Martonyi and Titov also discussed international issues such as the situation in Kosovo and Syria, agreeing that the Syrian conflict should be resolved peacefully through negotiations.
