Minister of Foreign Affairs János Martonyi met his Montenegrin counterpart Igor Luksic for talks on the sidelines of a security policy conference in Montenegro’s Budva on Saturday.
During the talks, Minister Martonyi assured Minister Luksic of Hungary’s continued support for Montenegro’s endeavours to join the European Union and NATO.
Parties at the talks agreed that it was necessary to further develop business ties between the two countries. The Montenegrin side had voiced satisfaction with Hungarian investors already active in the country, and awaited further Hungarian businesses.
During his stay in Montenegro, Mr Martonyi paid courtesy visits to President Filip Vujanovic, House Speaker Ranko Krivokapic, and Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic.
