Deputy State Secretary Gergely Prőhle gave a briefing to the ambassadors of the CEI countries about the current issues of the Hungarian Presidency of the Central European Initiative.
Gergely Prőhle and Edit Bátorfi, Head of the Secretariat of the Central European Year, informed the diplomats about the aims and programs of the Presidency, as well as about both the domestic and foreign events that have already taken place. The ambassadors of Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Poland, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Ukraine were invited to the briefing in Budapest.
The Head of the Secretariat of the Central European Year emphasised that the members of the diplomatic corps would receive regular orientation and would be in continuous contact with the Secretariat.
