Japan's Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida will hold talks with his Hungarian counterpart János Martonyi on August 23 in Budapest.
The two ministers are scheduled to sign a bilateral social-security agreement and will afterwards hold a joint press conference. On August 24 the Japanese foreign minister will visit the Suzuki plant in Esztergom and travel on to nearby Visegrád, to pay a visit to the Castle as well as the Royal Palace.
According to figures from the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency (HITA), Japanese businesses represented by 119 companies have so far invested an estimated 2.5-3 billion euros in Hungary.
