The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary welcomes the fact that Israeli–Palestinian talks have been resumed, the Ministry told MTI in a statement July 31, 2013.
It is crucial that parties in the direct talks should make all efforts and be prepared to make compromises to resolve the decades-long conflict in the Middle East, the statement said.
Hungary is ready to ensure diplomatic assistance in the process and supports relevant efforts by the European Union, the statement said.
Talks between Israel and Palestine resumed in Washington DC on July 29 2013 following a three-year pause.
