Beyond building diplomatic contacts, it is important that Hungarian–Egyptian relations should involve long-term cooperation projects, State Secretary Németh said. He highlighted the area of water management, noting that a UN conference, planned to be hosted by Hungary in October 2013 has attracted strong interest in the Arab World. Hungarian sectors that received attention in Egypt in recent years, including agriculture, medical industry and vehicle manufacturing, also play important roles in bilateral links, he added.
