The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of Hungary was deeply saddened by the news of the extremely destructive explosion at a fertiliser plant in West, Texas.

There is no concise information available yet about the number of victims and the extent of the damage caused. The American and international public has not even had the time to come to terms with the unexpected terrorist attack in Boston two days ago, and now they are confronted with the tragic consequences of an industrial disaster. We offer our sympathy and condolences to the relatives of the victims and we wish the injured a speedy recovery.
