Hungary strongly condemns the terrorist attack committed against the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Syria on November 28, 2013.

The Government of Hungary condemns all forms of terrorism regardless of the intentions of the perpetrators. It makes the tragic incident even more serious that the attack was targeted against a diplomatic mission prtotected by international law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary expresses its condolences to the families of the victims, and declares that such violent acts gravely endanger the success of efforts made to end the ongoing violence in Syria.
