The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is deeply concerned about the implemented rocket launch by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on 12 December, 2012.
The launching is a clear violation of the country’s international obligations and UN Security Council Resolution 1718 and 1874. Hungary calls upon the DPRK to abide by its international obligations especially as it is defined by the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions. Hungary also urges the DPRK to refrain from any destabilising actions that could further increase tensions in the region.
