Minister of Foreign Affairs János Martonyi welcomed Mrs Ewa Björling, Swedish Minister of Trade, on February 12, 2013.
The Hungarian and the Swedish ministers discussed current issues of international trade and matters of the European Single Market.
The two parties also focussed their attention on ways to improve regional cooperation, as Hungary chairs the Central European Initiative (CEI) and soon takes over the rotating presidency of the Visegrád Cooperation, while Sweden has the Presidency of the Nordic Ministerial Council and of the Nordic-Baltic Cooperation.
