On the sidelines of the Visegrad Four foreign ministers’ meeting Foreign Minister János Martonyi had bilateral talks with his Czech counterpart, Lubomir Zaoralek.

The two sides agreed that energy security and the success of governmental reforms were vital to promote economic growth in the Central European region. The use of nuclear energy plays an important role in the Czech governing coalition's energy policy, Lubomir Zaoralek declared in Budapest. The Czech Foreign Minister said that Prague would take a decision about launching the investments for the planned nuclear power plants in the country within one or two years.
