China and 16 countries of the Central and Eastern European region will hold a two-day tourism conference in Budapest at the end of May, Deputy State Secretary Bálint Ódor announced in Beijing 13 May 2014.

Deputy State Secretary Bálint Ódor said that China intends to send a ministerial level delegation to the conference.

At a meeting held in preparation for the conference, Mr. Ódor also raised the issue of a planned rail line between Budapest and Belgrade and signaled Hungary’s readiness to broker a ministerial-level agreement on the project.
