Their discussion focused on the operational cooperation of the two countries in Afghanistan, and the German and Hungarian systems of volunteer reserve.
The primary goal of Christian Schmidt’s visit to Hungary was to develop bilateral military relations and the armaments cooperation between Germany and Hungary.
The main topics of the discussion with István Simicskó, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence included the excellent operational cooperation between the two countries in Afghanistan, the armaments cooperation and the Hungarian and German volunteer reserve systems.
