A record 118 billion forints (EUR 390m) in grant money was paid out for Research and Development in Hungary last year, Minister of State Zoltán Cséfalvay said at a press conference on Tuesday.
Real earnings increased by 4.8 percent in November, representing a continuation of the sustained increase in the purchasing power of salaries. The deficit of the state budget for 2013 will be HUF 929.2bn, much more favourable than formerly expected and HUF 200bn below the figure projected in the Budget Bill.
