Today Minister for National Economy György Matolcsy leads negotiations on current economic policy issues and German-Hungarian economic relationships in Berlin.

He is scheduled to meet with Dr. Markus Kerber, CEO and Director General of the Federation of German Industries and Dr. Reinhard Göhner, Director General of the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations.

At a meeting, with a great number of participants, he will hold talks with executives of key economic institutions such as the German Banking Association, German Foreign Trade Association, Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as well as with representatives of Germany’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

After that Minister Matolcsy will engage in bilateral discussions about economic issues related to the two countries with Dr. Wolfgang Schauble, the Minister of Finance of Germany.

He will also meet with Professor Dr. Lars-Hendrik Röller, Chief Economic Advisor to the Chancellor and Mr. Peter Hintze, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
