György Matolcsy has replied to Olli Rehn
On 4 April 2011, in a letter Mr. György Matolcsy, the Hungarian Minister for National Economy informed Mr. Olli Rehn, the Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, that the Hungarian government will hold the first discussion about the convergence programme draft on their session on 6 April 2011 and they will send the final version to the European Commission on 15 April.
In his letter of 11 March 2011, Mr. Olli Rehn confirmed the standpoint of the European Commission that, based on the measures of the Széll Kálmán Plan, Hungary was on the right path to fiscal consolidation.
