Tamas Fellegi, Hungary's chief negotiator for talks with the IMF and the EU, will hold meetings in Germany on Monday and Tuesday next week, his office told MTI on Thursday.
Fellegi will hold preparatory talks with European Central Bank governor Mario Draghi and Bundesbank governor Jens Weidmann.
Andras Simor, the governor of Hungary's central bank, will also participate at the talks, the office said.
During his two-day visit Fellegi will also meet with German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble, top politicians in the German government and German bank heads.
On January 19, he is scheduled to hold talks in Vienna with Ewald Nowotny, the governor of Austria's central bank and Austrian finance minister, Maria Fekter.
A meeting with the EU's finance commissioner Olli Rehn is scheduled for January 20 in Brussels.
Fellegi started preparatory talks with representatives of the International Monetary Fund in Washington on Monday and is scheduled to meet IMF managing director Christine Lagarde later on Thursday. Fellegi is expected to give details about the informal discussions on Thursday around midnight CET.
Hungary is seeking a precautionary package with the IMF and Fellegi said earlier he had a mandate to discuss any topic on the table.
