The troops of HDF National Support Element Afghanistan have started to take over and deliver the American armored fighting vehicles to Mazar-e Sharif.

As it is known last December Minister of Defence Dr Csaba Hende and his delegation travelled to Afghanistan to be informed about the future role of the MRAPs the United States offered to the HDF. Following the ministerial announcement on the new American armored fighting vehicles the HDF NSE started to take over the MRAPs NAVISTAR MAXXPRO and deliver them to Mazar-e Sharif. The MRAPs will be used for operations in vastly different circumstances in Afghanistan.
