Heads of state and government, actors and sportsmen have travelled to Afghanistan to visit the troops from their homeland recently.

All the soldiers serving in Afghanistan would like to have some rest during the Festives. Of course not all of them have the possibility to do so, but the community of the servicemen tries to provide opportunity for physical and mental recreation. At Christmas Time heads of state and government all over the world pay more attention to the soldiers serving far from their homeland. Several European heads of state, prime ministers and military leaders have visited Kabul International Airport recently. Among others the Belgian Chief of Defence has personally taken his presents to Afghanistan. At the holiday reception General Charles-Henri Delcour handed over his present to Brigadier General Nándor Kilián. This time of year actors and sportsmen pay particular attention to express their appreciation to the soldiers’ efforts in fight against terrorism.
