The Prime Minister may nominate one or more deputy prime ministers, chosen from ministers. At present there are two deputy prime ministers, who carry out specific tasks in addition to deputising for the Prime Minister in certain situations which he has specified. Dr. Tibor Navracsics is responsible for the structure of public administration and its efficient operation, and Dr. Zsolt Semjén coordinates and guides work related to nationality policy and church affairs, and is General Deputy to the Prime Minister.
