The Office of the State Secretary directs the Ministry’s organisation, and ensures its coordinated operation. It prepares the Ministry’s organisational and operational regulations, makes proposals on the Ministry’s work schedule and continuously monitors implementation of the work schedule.
The Office of the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs carries out specific tasks defined by the Minister, and takes part in developing and representing the Ministry’s standpoint. The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs directs the mechanisms for reaching cross-party agreement, and gives opinions on plans developed in the course of the Ministry’s preparation of legislation.
The Office of the Minister of State for Regional Administration and Elections provides specialist direction for legal supervision of local councils, and prepares legislation related to the operation of public administration offices. One of its responsibilities is the reduction of bureaucratic impositions on the public, and the mitigation of administrative burdens.
The Office of the Minister of State for Justice is responsible for international cooperation in justice affairs, and legislation in the areas of justice affairs, civil law and constitutional law. The Office of the Minister of State for Hungarian Communities Abroad coordinates relations between Hungarian state bodies and the organisations and representatives of Hungarians in neighbouring countries, and oversees the implementation by other public administration bodies of tasks related to national priorities, initiating measures when necessary.
