The State Secretary directs the Ministry’s organisation, and ensures its coordinated operation. It prepares the Ministry’s organisational and operational regulations, makes proposals on the Ministry’s work schedule and continuously monitors implementation of the work schedule.
The Minister of State for the Ministry of National Development carries out specific tasks defined by the Minister, and takes part in developing and representing the Ministry’s standpoint. The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs directs the mechanisms for reaching cross-party agreement, and gives opinions on plans developed in the course of the Ministry’s preparation of legislation.
The Minister of State for Infocommunication manages tasks related to policy on audiovisual media, public administration IT infrastructure, the electronic media, frequency regulation, the information society and postal affairs. One of the Office’s fundamental goals is that in realising its full potential, the info-communication sector should become the engine of Hungarian economic growth.
One of the high-priority tasks of The Minister of State for Energy Affairs is the development of programmes in Hungary at national and sector-based levels for energy strategies and expansion of home-ownership. In accordance with this the Office of the Minister of State is responsible for the formation of programmes at national economic level, and the preparation of calls for funding and grant applications.
The Minister of State for Infrastructure provides governmental direction in the fields of energetics and transport. In the field of energetic, the most important task is the simultaneous realisation of security, competitiveness and sustainability of supply. In the area of transport, the Office of the Minister of State carries out tasks related to the commissioning and financing of long-distance public transport services.
In the area of policy development, the most important task of the government to provide domestic and European Union funds allocation determined by the priorities of the economic policy strategy. In this context, the institutional framework responsible for creating and operating the top of the national development policy database and operating system information to continuously monitor the development process. In addition, coordinate the use of domestic and EU funds, and monitor the effects of policy measures proposed in the implementation of development programs. The highlights of green economic development are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This can be done in energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, and even the use of different CO2 capture technologies. The green economic development has been determined in the New Széchenyi Plan as a key priority.
The Minister of State for State Property focuses on the one hand on regulation of the management of state assets and their supervision, and on the other hand it develops and implements the Government’s public procurement policy.
